SERBIA. Stefan Uros IV Dusan, as king, 1331-1345. Gros (Silver, 18 mm, 1.35 g, 6 h), variety with sigla V on obverse. MONI[T]AS - INPE[RATO] Ornamented helmet with feathers on top and sigla V on crest. Rev. Christ, nimbate, seated facing on decorated throne and holding book of Gospels with both hands; in field to left, IC; in field to right, XC; in center, Bulgarian countermark. Jovanovic 11-12.1 var. (without sigla V). An apparently unpublished variety. Nicely toned. Somewhat bent from countermarking, otherwise, very fine.
